The Whiskey Brothers
Classic western swing, bluegrass and original music, featuring great vocal harmonies. The band includes local music-scene veterans Jeff Ward on mandolin, Dave Courchaine on guitar, John MacFarlane on fiddle and accordian, Craig Fletcher on banjo and Bruce Campbell on bass. The Whiskey Brothers play from the heart and are a lot of fun too!

Derek Smith Jazz Trio
Bay Area musician Derek Smith has cultivated a unique sound that combines the steel pan and vibraphone with the infectious rhythms of Latin Jazz. He uses the instrumentation to interpret the music of Latin Jazz masters, such as Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Mongo Santamaria. The influences of these legendary musicians are also echoed in Smith’s original compositions, along with the street music of Trinidad, Cuba and Puerto Rico where Derek has traveled and studied.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18 9:30PM–12:30  ·  $3 COVER Kurt Ribak Jazz Trio Bassist and composer Kurt Ribak steps into the foreground leading his own trio. Monk and Mingus influence his composistions, mixing catchy melodies and infectious grooves.
